Banking - Introduction

The Banking module in Mocha Manage helps housing societies easily track and manage all bank transactions in one place. You can connect bank accounts, import statements, categorize transactions, and reconcile records to keep your financial data accurate and up to date.

The Bank Transactions page is divided into four tabs to help you review, categorize, and manage imported bank transactions efficiently.

• For Review
  This tab contains transactions that were successfully extracted from the uploaded file but have not yet been categorized. These transactions will not be reflected in your books until they are categorized.
• Categorized
  If any transaction in your uploaded statement matches an existing banking rule, it will be automatically categorized and appear under this tab.
• Excluded
  If there are transactions in your bank statement that you do not want to include in your books of accounts, you can mark them as Excluded, and they will appear here.
• Skipped
  While uploading a bank statement, the system validates the file to ensure all mandatory fields are present. Transactions with missing required information are moved to the Skipped tab.
